Ron and Shayna of Darlin’ Trailers reimagine this pint size travel trailer from small and cavernous to open and airy with better storage, better flow and room for two.
This 2017 Jayco Flyte 17BH came to us with extensive water damage from the front all the way to the rear of the trailer. We took it down to the exterior walls and began to build it back from the subfloor up. This gave us the opportunity to make small floorpan shifts that would pack a big punch. Our brief was to remove the bunks and find a way to make better use of the space. A place to work and a lounging area were also desired.
Our reconfiguration began by shifting the bathroom door to the side. By doing this, we were able to add a hanging closet, create a desk area, add a loveseat, increase total kitchen cabinet and open shelving space, add additional storage with exterior access and open up the walkway. More light was brought into the entire trailer by revealing the window in the bunk room and by adding a window over the kitchen sink.
With each commissioned renovation we do, we make every effort to interpret and develop the ideas our clients have and marry that with our personal and professional experience to create something that wildly exceeds their expectations.
